This is an auction for a complete PC system (i.e. keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, operating system). It plays games pretty well too (but obviously not at its potential due to the graphics card), and only heavily graphical games will be out of its reach (e.g. Far Cry, Doom 3). The speakers are powerful too, and are quite loud (I've never had them full blast though). The mouse is comfortable and is suitable for both left- and right-handed people. The keyboard is comfortable to use because of its wrist rest. It comes with 2 power cables, 3 speaker cables (note that one of the plugs is slightly bent but still fits in and causes no problems) and a 3m high performance CAT6 Ethernet cable. It also comes with a Windows XP Home Edition CD, manual and product key, plus a motherboard manual, drivers, USB to PS/2 convertor for the mouse (if necessary), and drivers for the mouse. It is already set up ready to use, with Windows and all drivers installed (no software), so it's a case of plugging everything in and switching on. The spec of the system is; Gigabyte GA-71xe mother board and manual G400 Dual Head graphics card - 16Mb SB compatable sound card + CD connect cable 56k modem AMD Athlon 700 with coolermaster CPU fan ( slot A ) Maxtor 91531U3 15Gb IDE drive floppy cable - NO FLOPPY DRIVE 300 Watt power supply CCL case ( 3 x 5.25 + 3 x 3.25 drive bays ) - floppy blanking plate is missing. 128 PC100 RAM ( 1 Dimm ) 2 USB Ports - Rear only 10/100 Benq network card The basic system was purchased from CCL a number of years ago and it has been added to and changed over the years. There are a few screws / PCI blanking plates missing. The system is idea for office apps ( word / excel ) and surfing. An excellent first PC that would suite anyone needing a basic system with room for expansion. XP is installed but no CD will be provided. Postage is a little on the high side for this item as it is heavy. I am happy to ship the components only to the winning bidder if the case is not required. I estimate the cost for shipping the PC will be Â£20.00 via parcelforce 48 or much less if the case is not required. The weight unpackaged is 13.2 Kg
