Two beautiful purple and dark gold Laura Ashley Cushions. 35 cm x 27
cm (aprox) Removable cover with hidden zip. Flame retardent.
Gorgeous tassles on each corner with bronze/gold sequin detail.
Hardly used, so in mint condition. Would look fantastic on any sofa or
bed to add that luxury look.

Bright Handpainted Nursery Cushion Cath Kidston/Ashley

This exclusive 18" childrens cushion has been designed and handpainted by
myself using non toxic fabric paints which are washable (up to 40
degrees) or can be dry cleaned if preferred.
This delightful cushion is bright and fun. It would make an ideal
Christmas present for a little boy who enjoys his bedtime stories! It
would look equally good either tossed on the bed or thrown on a
nursery chair. If you are a fan of Designers Guild, Cath Kidston, Folk
Art, Shabby Chic or Laura Ashley, this item should slot into your
interior decorating scheme with ease
Painted in a multitude of vibrant stimulating colours, with masses of
detail, the words "Richer than me you'll never be, 'cos I've got a
Mummy who reads to me!" is set in a blue washed sky amongst the fluffy
clouds, birds and smiling sun. In the main picture below stands a
little boy in his spotty baseball cap and shorts, with his Mummy
standing close by holding a book amongst the flowers and butterflies.
Of course the scene wouldn't be complete without the family pet, so a
very cute smiling cat stands between them. The border has also been
handpainted in big blue spots so an exact colour match could be
obtained. The back is constructed in a plain pale blue fabric and has
a generous envelope opening.
To appreciate the fine details, may I suggest you have a good look at
the pictures. Unfortunately I had to take the main pictures with a
conventional camera and they in no way do it justice, so I have added
some scanned images (any shadows are caused by the scanner - see the
main pictures for a truer representation of colour). My apologies for
the poor quality images, I can't wait to get my digital camera back!
The 20" feather pad is not included but can be purchased for an extra
£6.00 (UK buyers please add an extra £1.80 to the postal costs). If
purchasing outwith the UK, I would prefer to post the cushion cover
only to help keep the postal costs down for you. However, should you
require the insert, please contact me for the extra postal charge.
Please take a peek at my other designs of hand crafted items which
include hand stitched and appliqued cushions with various sayings as
well as more bespoke handpainted ones suitable for all occasions, age
groups and room settings. I shall be adding various new designs
shortly, including gifts for baby, grandmother, friends etc which
would a great unique Christmas present - very Country Living, you
can't buy these in the shops! Why not add me to your favourites and
