ART DECO SILVER & MARCASITE NECKLACE & EARRINGS SUITE.

This is a beautiful necklace and matching earrings suite dating to the
late 1920's and in wonderful condition. Featuring a necklace set with
nine decorative flower motifs, each flower being studded with
marcasites and a central faux pearl. The petals of the flowers have a
beautiful pattern of engraved lines which gives depth and extra
sparkle to the petals. The earrings echo the flower motif and are also
set with marcasites and a smaller faux pearl. Considering the age of
this suite, condition is excellent - there are eight marcasites
missing from the original ninety in the necklace, but considering
there are eighty two still remaining after all this time, I don't
think this is too serious at all. And they are easily replaced by any
competent jeweller for minimal cost. There is one marcasite missing
form an earring also. I do think the metal of both earrings and the
necklace is silver but it is unmarked so I am selling as silver-tone
metal. The necklace is 16" in length and each flower is 5/8" in
diameter. The earrings are each 7/8" long by 1/4" across the flower.
The earrings have clip fittings so anyone may wear them and the
necklace has a push-in slide tongue clasp. Any questions, please ask.
Please note that all my pieces are antique or vintage and as such will
have borne the passage of time and so will inevitably show some signs
of normal wear.

A beautiful and stylish Art Deco White Metal & Marcasite interlinked
Bracelet with a stylish and typically Art Deco design, and a safety
chain to prevent easy loss. Bought privately, this was originally
bought in the 1940’s as part of a bridesmaid’s outfit, together
with a necklace, which is being offered as a separate lot. The metal
appears to be chrome, although it is completely unmarked with any
manufacturers marks. A great period finishing touch and accessory.
Size: Approximately 7 ½ inches (19cm) around wrist, Condition: Free
from damage and repairs. Checked carefully, all marcasite present.
