PERUVIAN ALPACA SILVER NECKLACE & EARRINGS Beautiful Peruvian Alpaca Silver Necklace with three Andean Turquoise Hearts which have been hand crafted in Peru, silver flower designs, silver dangles and Turquoise chips. The earrings have a teardrop Andean Turquoise, filigree silver crescent with love knots, silver dangles decorated with small round green glass beads and small round silver beads. The length of this necklace is 17" Shipping is always combined (Â£1.25 for any amount of items within UK). If payment is received by 11.30 a.m. items are posted out first class on the same day payment received (or cleared if paid by cheque). If paid p.m. items despatched next day (excluding weekends). UK customers usually receive within 48 hours. Below is some basic information about the Peruvian jewellery I sell. Stones A variety of semi-precious stones are used including Turquoise, Rose Quartz (also known as Pink Andean Opal, Serpentine, Andean Opal, Black Onyx, Mahogany Obsidian (also known as Apache Tear), Agates and others. Metal This silver can tarnish in time, but it polishes like any other silver with a metal polish back to itâ€™s original shine and beauty. I have personally tried this and found it to be completely true. Some other Peruvian jewellery makers use an alpaca silver that is not pure. This metalwork is made with brass wire and coated in nickel. This is a cheaper form of alpaca and is very shiny when new. Eventually this silver loses the nickel plate and then nothing will shine it back up to itâ€™s original look. Cleaning your jewellery Just clean with regular Brasso or Silvo and a soft toothbrush. NEVER user silver dip on any semi-precious stones as it will destroy them.
