This finely detailed locomotive is in absolutely perfect condition and
full working order. It is brand new, still in its original box and
never been used except to test. The box is in good condition and is
only slightly damaged on two corners on the front.
The Airfix Model Railway System was extremely well welcomed by
modellers when it first appeared in the mid 1970s. Their locos and
rolling stock are extremely well detailed and authentic. Fine detail
pieces like whistles, handrails, lubricators, sand pipes, nameplates,
etc. are made as separate parts, not an integral moulding. They are
finished in quality paint which is authentic to the applicable BR and
Company specifications.
The 61xx class was developed from the 31xx class of 1903 and was used
almost exclusively on the West London Suburban traffic. They differed
from their predecessors (51xx's) primarily in boiler pressure, 225 lb
versus 200 lb. This gave an extra 3,040 lb of tractive effort. Power
class 4M/T Total built 70 Tractive effort 27,340 lb Date as modelled
1931-1934+

Cheque It can take over two weeks to obtain your goods. You post your
cheque to me, I post it to my bank, it takes five working days to
clear, and then I post the goods to you.
Postal Order Faster than cheques because payment is guaranteed by the
Post Office. But the PO do charge for the service.
Pay-Pal The fastest way of ensuring your goods are dispatched quickly.
To make things simple we average out the Pay-Pal charges.
Bank Electronic Transfer If you prefer not to use Pay-Pal, then this
method costs nothing and is faster than sending a cheque.

Post and Packaging/Shipping and Handling:
The winning bidder is responsible for shipping and handling costs but
please rest assured your item will be packaged with the greatest

Payment Timetable:
UK CUSTOMERS: payment must be received within 10 days of the end of
the auction. EUROPE/USA/REST OF WORLD: Payment must be received within
14 days from the end of the auction. We will consider special
circumstances provided prior arrangements have been made by email. If
payments are not received within the specified time for you then your
item will be relisted to sell again and your ID will be entered in the
non-payers programme which will result in negative feedback or worse!
