Antique Edwardian 9ct Gold, Garnet & Pearl Brooch
This pretty antique brooch features a centrally set faceted blood red
garnet surrounded by ten seed pearls in a 9ct brooch setting.
The brooch measures approximately 5.2cms x 1.3cms (maximum width) and
weighs approximately 2.8 grammes. There is an obscured hallmark on
the edge of the brooch and it has also been tested and found to be
composed of 9ct gold. There is a hook at the top of the brooch where
a safety chain can be attached.
This brooch is in excellent condition for its age with no damage and
showing just very light signs of use. There are a couple of very tiny
fleabite chips to the garnet, which are only visible through a lens.
The brooch retains its original 'C' clasp which is in fully working
order. The pin part of the brooch is made of steel.

9ct gold garnet & pearl brooch - 1970s

A pretty starburst style brooch from the 70s.
It is made from 'dimpled' goldwork and scattered with about 10 pearls
and 5 small garnets.
Measures about 1" long
It has a roll back pin and clasp in very good working order.
