You are bidding for a mint and boxed Canon 28-105 USM II f/3.5-4.5 Zoom lens and hood. Bought in August 2004 from Jessops for Â£229 it has been used once to photograph my brother's wedding (4 rolls of film). This is arguably Canon's best compact zoom lens, better than all the "kit" enses supplied with EOS slr cameras. Stopped down to f/8 it is very close in quality to the L series pro lenses and shows very little distortion at 28mm wide. Rated as better than both the 24-85mm and the 20-35mm compact zooms in Canon's range. It also beats the 28-135 IS USM in most situations. It comes complete with dedicated Canon hood and a Jessops 1A filter. It uses a ring type USM so focussing can be tweaked manually without switching over to full manual. Faster and quieter that than a non USM lens. I am changing platform over to Nikon so am selling my Canon gear. Please see my other items.
